Listing remarks

This 67 acre, older homestead, is located in the small, country community of Cedarville, WV. The best use of this property would be quiet getaway, hunting camp or recreation property. The home (circa 1900), is a fixer-upper in need of TLC, and has approximately 1,100 sq ft and offers 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, dining room and living room. Attached to the back of the home is a utility area, hand-cut stone cellar and cellar house. There are a couple of covered porches. Additional structures include an older garage / shop and wash house. The home is on a private well and private septic system. There is a nice yard and small creek flowing through the front of the property, with spots for additional cabins, homes, etc. There is an older gas well, currently not in use, that will convey with the property. The majority of the land is wooded hillside and the hunting is excellent. The location is approximately 10 minutes to Cedar Creek State Park, 20 minutes to Glenville, Glenville State University and Burnsville and I-79 are about 30 minutes away.
